Anthem runs at native 4K resolution on Xbox One X

Anthem is an upcoming shared globe third-person shooter from BioWare. BioWare is the studio behind famous franchises like Dragon Historic period and Mass Result. Anthem is expected to launch on February 22, 2022, merely that hasn't stopped the programmer from releasing new details about the project.

Aside from featuring a plethora of content at launch, Anthem should become new cosmetic items, creatures, and fifty-fifty regions after launch. However, ever since news broke that the game would support Xbox One X, many gamers accept been patiently waiting to know the details. Would this "side by side-generation" experience run at native 4K on Microsoft's new machine? How does it compare to the PlayStation 4 Pro? Luckily, all of these questions were answered by Digital Foundry today.

The base Xbox One achieves 900p resolution while the base of operations PlayStation 4 runs at 1080p. The PlayStation four Pro manages to hit 1800p, but the Xbox I 10 takes the prize with a native 4K resolution. In an earlier analysis, Digital Foundry discovered that there were "checkerboarding" artifacts on all versions — even PC — but that's not the case anymore.

Bated from PC, the Xbox One Ten version should be the cleanest. Hopefully BioWare will be able to iron out the performance issues earlier launch. Anthem needs to be a polished game when it launches towards the terminate of this calendar month. All the same, only time will tell. A lot of gamers are skeptical given how Mass Effect: Andromeda turned out.
