Microsoft Ad Pokes Fun at IE, Urges Users to Give IE9 a Chance - brooksimalk1993

In a new ad campaign, Microsoft is showing banker's acceptance for Internet IE's dark past, calling it "the browser you loved to hate."

The companion has set up a website with video ads and silly graphics, all of which essentially admit that Internet Internet Explorer wont to stink. "Some people are stressful the new Internet Explorer and really liking IT," the site's description says. "Non that they would say it out loud."

The most lovely of the video ads shows a young man meeting with a psychologist nigh his propensity to uninstall Internet Explorer on unusual people's computers. "The only matter Internet Explorer is good for at all … is downloading past browsers," he exclaims.

Graphics connected the site project other things that were once popular, then suffered a bold overleap in popularity before seemly cool again. (Examples: "Tablet Adoration," "Bird-Based Communication" and Pabst Dispirited Thread.)

Along a second page, the site admits that "Your current browser is probably great … Thus keep using it." But it also encourages people to use Internet Explorer 9 to pin sites so much Eastern Samoa Facebook and Pandora to the Windows taskbar. "And when you make out, you might find some stuff you the likes of in Internet Internet Explorer," the site says.

Will the agitate get me to alternate? Probably not, even though IE9 is markedly better than its predecessors. (PCWorld titled it united of the 100 best products of 2011.) I have my reasons for sticking out with Google Chrome. Specifically, I've grown accustomed to the browser's Web apps, pinned tabs and bookmarks bar.

But as far as ad campaigns die down, Microsoft's latest for Internet Explorer is wizard and clever. It grabbed my care, without even off relying on missile regurgitation.
